In January 2013 David Cameron promised a referendum on the UK’s membership in the European Union. The British are strongly divided on the question. Polls show that the public is split on the issue, with approximately 41% in favour of withdrawal, 41% in favour of membership, and 18% undecided. A group of my students (Professional Linguistic and Upper Studies, University of Kent, Chatham), decided to shoot a short film (funny music video) concerning the British problem:
